Flexible home office base in Europe, 50% travel requirement globally

Over the last 25 years, the DE SANGOSSE Group has evolved from a relatively small agri-distribution business into one of the foremost international players in the agricultural biosolutions market. This transformation has been driven by a strategy founded on continuous innovation and strengthened by a successful programme of acquisitions that has created a global platform of 44 operating companies with commercial activities in more than 60 countries. The Group’s commitment to sustained investment in research and development, combined with its focus on high-value biosolutions specialities, places the organisation in a strong position to accelerate its global presence further over the next decade as demand for sustainable and innovative crop protection technologies continues to expand.

As part of the development of its 2030–2035 strategic plan, DE SANGOSSE now seeks to appoint an accomplished marketing professional with substantial experience in plant protection and biosolutions for the role of International Marketing Director, Biosolutions. This is a senior leadership position, forming part of the company’s Senior Management Committee, and the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the Group’s future international business direction and product strategy at a time of significant growth potential.

The role encompasses responsibility for contributing to the evolution of the Group’s global marketing strategies, driving EBITDA performance through product differentiation and optimisation of the product mix, and leading the continued development of an innovative biosolutions portfolio that reflects the evolving needs of growers seeking bio-based crop protection solutions. The role holder will work closely with the sales, technical, and regulatory teams within the operating companies, as well as with the Group’s central R&D and Regulatory departments, ensuring strong alignment between market requirements, scientific innovation, and commercial execution.

Candidates will hold a master’s degree in agriculture or agronomy and an advanced marketing qualification such as an MBA. Fluency in English is essential, with working knowledge of French and ideally Spanish. They will bring solid international experience in the marketing of plant protection products, together with a strong understanding of global agri-input markets for PPPs and bio-based solutions. A creative mindset, capable of generating new concepts and approaches by segment, is critical, as is a proven ability to work effectively with culturally diverse teams. Strong operational capability, analytical skills, and strategic thinking are all essential attributes for success in this influential leadership role.
